NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NGC)

National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety delivered in Warrington, Cheshire.

The National General Certificate is the most widely held health and safety qualification in the UK with over 143,000 people having gained the award since it was launched in 1989.

It is designed for managers, supervisor and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues.  The certificate helps them manage risks effectively.  Many people take the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a first step in a career in health and safety.  It provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study.

The qualification is recognised as meeting academic requirements of the Technician membership (TechIOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).

The NEBOSH NGC is a Level 3 qualification which equate to A Level and is comprised of three units.

Unit 3 – Health and Safety – Practical Application

Within two weeks of the written exam date, the delegate will complete a supervised work based practical assessment.

The course is delivered in two split weeks with an additional single examination day.  The price per delegate is £1,695.
